We purchased the Carnival Transportation from the Long Beach Cruise port to the Long Beach Airport. It was about $24 dollars a person and it wasn’t too bad. We walked off the ship and got thru customs and the porter took us over to where the buses were at. We checked in and they took our bags and put them on a van. I was thinking what the heck, I thought we going to go on a bus, I guess that is only to LAX. We got on board and I was able to sit on the edge of the seat as that was the only room they had.
Van Not Bus
So in my defense, I didn’t get a picture of the Transportation that Carnival had for us when going back to Long Beach Airport. I just didn’t think of it. I know I am totally sucking on getting all the details. It was a black van that fit 8 people. Well, it should have anyway it only fit seven people as the two people in the middle didn’t want to share.
Fly in the day of
If I was going to fly into the cruise the day of, I would totally use the Carnival transportation to and from the airport. It came in handy as the company we normally use to get to and from the airport only does Los Angles International (LAX) and not Long Beach airport. For being only $23.99 a person it is worth it, especially for when you are flying into Long Beach instead of LAX.
Summary
So if you are thinking about how to get to and from the airport, then I would look into the Carnival transportation option.
