I never thought I would like Carnival. I have heard horror stories about Carnival and that it is just a party ship. So when I booked this cruise back in 2013 for a family Thanksgiving trip, the cruise was a 4 night 5-day cruise to Catalina and Ensenada, Mexico. I thought this would be a good trip for a first family cruise. It wasn’t too bad and I went back for a second time. USA Today did a photo-op of this Ship. The 2,056-passenger Carnival ship sails to Mexico out of Long Beach, Calif.
