Cabo Adventure, Ruby

Wednesday, Oct 25, 2023, we spent the day in Cabo San Lucas. That meant that, of course, we went and did something.

Excursion

My wife wanted to ride the camels. However, in my current state of being somewhat overweight. Plus, my inability to lose weight. She said I never tried. We opted to go on a half-day luxury sailboat ride.

Yep, you heard that right, a luxury sailboat ride.

We booked this through Princess.

Adventure

We got to the sailboat and boarded. It was hard for an overweight person to walk around the boat as the waves were out and about. We boarded the following.

We left the port and headed out.

We passed the following.

Lovers Beach

Arch

Yep, two other cruise ships were there as well.

On the journey, we had a snack, and this is what it consisted of

We got to where we could snorkel, and only a few of us went out in the water. I was one of them. There were plenty of fish to see, and they were all around me at some point while I was snorkeling. I was going to film it with the Osmo Action. However, I grabbed the wrong underwater holder. Dang it!!. I need to get rid of the old one.

I had some fun swimming in the water. To be honest with you. Being in Cabo three times is my first time getting in the ocean, in Cabo. I know, right? It is about darn time.

Lunch

They provided us with Lunch or a snack consisting of the following:

*** Credit goes to my wife, who reminded me to take the photos.

The food was super good.

Way back

On the way back to the port, we stopped the engines and let the sailboat do the work. I had never been on a sailboat on the ocean before, and that was a different thing. At times, it was like. Am I going to fall off of this boat due to the angle we are at?

I could only imagine what it was like in the olden days of sailboats and going the way of the wind.

Cabo Adventure

It is the tour company that took us out on the water. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. They were friendly and kind and didn’t lecture us at any point besides what they had to do.

Before boarding the ship, you had to take off your shoes. Yes, take off your shoes. I wouldn’t say I like to take off their shoes and socks. I do hate my feet. Ok, I like my feet. They get me from place to place. However, I wouldn’t say I like the look of them. But I digress.

If you are down in Cabo, look them up.

I don’t get paid for referrals. This is just my opinion. But maybe if enough people say Traveling with Justin, recommend this, then one day.

It was an adventure, for sure.

Before the adventure

We had to meet in the Princess Theatre on deck 7. This is where we checked in. Then we walked down to deck 6 and sat there for about 20 to 30 minutes. We then went to the midship and deck 4, where we embarked on a boat ride to the shore.

Yes, it was a tender port. We rode in lifeboats. We had to survive in a tender boat if the ship was sinking. It would be a hard decision for me.

The boat was small and hot when you were seated facing someone else.

Once we got to the pier, someone asked me to search my backpack. Yet, they let others pass by. I didn’t have any fruits or anything like that. I had some candy.

Then we stood on the pier and waited for people to tell us where to go.

Afterwords

We went in and got some vanilla. This stuff is better than what is available in America. Then it cost us .50 cents to use the restroom. Yes, you heard that right. And they didn’t even have toilet seats on the toilets. Yes,  I should have got a picture, but I didn’t. That is odd.

Went back to the ship.

Thoughts on the day

It was a long day, but worth it. It was fun, and I did something I had never done before. I would say go and do this option if you are in Cabo.

Also, I got some Sun today.

It was very hot when I took that picture at 10:46 PM MST on Oct. 25, 2023. I was sweating like crazy.
