We left Henderson, Nevada and headed to Long Beach, California. Oh my gosh they traffic was bad all the way to Long Beach. We should have arrived at the Hotel Maya around 2:30 PM but we didn’t get there until 4:30 PM. When driving only 20 to 30 MPH for miles sure put a damper on things.
Once we got to the hotel and got our room, it is in the fourth building on the ground level with a walkout patio. It was a nice view, it was supposed to be a water view, there were some trees in the way, but, you could walk about 50 feet and see the bay. I am not going to complain.
We walked down to the Queen Mary and saw the Carnival Imagination. It was a .7 mile walk. The ship was running a few minutes behind as they didn’t leave at 5 PM. It was still in port when we left to run to Wal-Mart.
We went to Wal-Mart in Compton, since we forgot a few things. It was a brand new store which just opened. Then over to Fat Burger, the burgers were good but for $40 dollars they weren’t that good. So one thing off my food bucket list.
Ended the night and went to bed.
