Saturday, July 11, 2020, which is a Saturday was the first day of the Colorado Trip. So of course the day started out with of course packing. That was a fun adventure.
Morning time
Started the morning off with packing the 28-inch Suitcase. Getting things locked up and cleaned out the ice maker and packed the car. We then headed out to do the following:
- Get a car wash
- Get gas
- Get Breakfast
- Drive to Colorado
Afternoon time
We arrived in Grand Junction, Colorado about 2:30 and we got some lunch at a place called Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom. It was pretty good food. We then dropped the kids off at a disk golf course. Of course, we went to Wal-Mart we had to check it out. Went to Dairy Queen got an ice cream buster bar and a blizzard.
Went back to the disk golf course and sat there for about 30 min.
Drove to Glenwood Springs
Evening Time
Got to the motel and checked in. It was an odd check-in process. Went to Wal-Mart again, different town different adventure. They didn’t sell Veggies so we had to go find a store with some veggies. Went to Culvers to eat some dinner.
