- Was going to b dedicated onMemorialAugust 28, 2011 which was the 48th anniversary of the “I have a Dream” speech. Which was delivered on the stairs of the Lincoln Memorial in 1963.
- Moved to October 16, 2011, the 16th anniversary of 1995 Million Man March on the National Mall. (Due to a Hurricane)
Martian Luther King Jr. was a leader in the Civil Rights Movement and the I have a dream speech has been canonized as one of the greatest pieces of American oratory. He won the Nobel peace prize for his work.
He was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee on April 4, 1969.

As you walked in, I wish I would have got this on video, on both sides of you are these great giant boulders. Martian Luther King Jr. was craved out of these two boulders. He fought for change and I think that the country is still working on it. But he was a true leader for a cause.
