This really isn’t a trip somewhere fancy. But it is something that we did that was different.
July 4 Weekend
I am throwing in this trip now. Since it is happening around July 4th. I do have more to talk about, but that will have to wait for a few posts. It will be good to hang around. Let’s now talk about Friday, July 1, 2022.

Since Independence Day is coming up. It is time for the Freedom Festival, that is what it is called where I live. So that means 4 days of great activities. Here is a website that talks about what is going on. https://www.freedomfestival.org/
What did I do
Well, we finished packing and my son couldn’t find his cell phone. We found it, but it was stuck in the chair and he forced it out, and well, it was broken.
Yea, that little tiny crack, well it caused a major break down and we tried to get it fixed but it was $329 to fix the screen. Then they went to the AT&T store and well, they couldn’t fix it, but we have since we have insurance. We got on the phone and after an hour we got an appointment for July 5, 2022, at 9 AM. So he would be out of a phone all weekend. Great…
Ate at
We ate at a place called Little Acorn. I haven’t eaten there in a long time. I thought we were going to eat in the car since that is what my wife likes to do. But, we didn’t. I got myself just a small hamburger and a Shake. Yes, I shouldn’t have gotten a shake but I did. Sue me.
Mode it to the campground, after my gutless Honda pilot couldn’t pull two four-wheelers up a steep hill. So we had to offload them. I wish I could have gotten a video of it, but I didn’t get one.
