Where should you stay in Kansas City to see a Chiefs game? Well, I’ve got you covered on this one.
Before
We stayed here (Druy Inn), but that one is called the Lotus Hotel. But they wouldn’t answer their phone. I found a couple of different ones. But this one had an opening, and I jumped on it.

Best Western at the Sports Complex

I found this on hotels.com,
Room Comfort:
It was just a standard room; it was a bit crowded due to having four people. But it was spaced just like any other room.
Room Cleanliness:
The room was clean, but it was dated and old. The bathroom had a couple of holes; the tub was uneven and could use paint, so it was done correctly and looked nice.
Value:
My wife hates it when I put in how much something costs so I won’t do that. But, for what we paid for this place for two nights, Sun and Monday nights,
Staff Services:
It was excellent; they were always friendly and happy. She was always greeting you.
WiFi
It was just the standard WiFi; I didn’t ask you for a room number or anything like that to verify that you were at the hotel. Not very secure. I used a VPN, which I would always recommend you do. However, it wouldn’t upload all of my videos and photos. It’s most likely due to them logging off everyone, and you must reconnect.
Facilities:
You could tell that the hotel was a bit old. They were constantly doing some maintenance on the hotel.
- The pool was closed due to maintenance
- Were painting at night
- Fixing things
- One elevator was broken
- The Drink station was out of order in the lobby
- One of the washers was not working.
It smelled old, or there was a funky smell in the hallways.
Breakfast:
They had a pretty good spread of food. However, they only had one waffle maker, and there was a long line. It takes about 2:30 (minutes) to get one made. It could take a long time to get one. Well, it all depends on the time you get there.
Summary:
It’s a pretty good hotel. It did what it was meant to do.
Was it worth it?
Yes, it was well worth it, indeed. I didn’t have to fight traffic to find a place to park. It was within walking distance of the game.
