The Ruby Princess has three dining rooms, all of which are free or included in the price of the fare. Let’s find out what they are.
Deck 5
This is where you will find the Michelangelo Dining room. It is mid-ship. If you go down the center elevators, this dining room is right behind them.
On this sailing day, the dining room was open for people who wanted to play games until 3:30 PM (ship time). It was a busy place.
They also did sales there.
Dinner was served from 5:30 to 10 PM.
Deck 6
It features two dining rooms. We will start at the Midship.
Da Vinci Dining Room
It is also located at Midship, just above the Michelangelo dining room.
This dining room is open for Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner.
On embarkation, you can eat lunch here until 1:30 PM.
The dining room is open for the following:
- Breakfast
- All days
- Lunch
- Sea Days only
- Dinner
- Every day
- Afternoon Tea
- Sea days
Botticelli Dining Room
It is located at the back of the sea on Deck 6. You can’t get to it from Deck 6 or Deck 5. The only way to get there is to go to the Aft of the ship on decks 7 to 19 (depending on what elevator you pick).
It is only open for dinner. However, they do hold meetings there daily, which I found out when I wanted to do the dining room video.
Ate
We only ate at the following:
- Michelangelo Dining room
- For Dinner
- Da Vinci Dining room
- Breakfast
- Lunch
- Dinner
- Botticelli
- Never
Thoughts
Princess does the dining differently. They have three separate ones. I’m not sure why, but they do. It is different and seems to work. They serve the same food for dinner, so it doesn’t matter where you eat. They have different views.
