Packing cubes are a good thing to use, they do offer some compression to your clothes.

Is there another method, well yes there is.

Compression

You be thinking that what is the different in compression bags and packing cubes and compression.

Glad you asked. These bags

They aren’t cubes, but just bags. You put your clothes in there and then you seal it up and then roll it. I know roll it up. Yep.

Yep and that is all you do.  Then you pack them in your suit case and away you go.

They do have different sizes.

• Carry on size
• Checked bag size

You don’t have to use the carry-on  size in your checked bag. I am sure you won’t be pulled aside to fix the issue.  You probably fit the checked bag in your carry on.

Did They Work

That is a  good question. They were OK, They didn’t do what I thought they would do. They did free up some space. But not what I thought they would do.

You didn’t need a small vacuum to suck all the air out. You just roll it.

I mean these are doable. I did take them to Alaska, September of 2024.

I am still searching for something that will do what I want it to do. I never find it. But these do work. I got them on Amazon.
