On this cruise, we stayed on the port side of the ship, in front of the ship. We were in room 7132. Let’s talk about the room.
The Room
As you walk in, the bathroom is on the right-hand side of the room.
The bed is in the middle of the room.
The TV is mounted so that the person closest to the ocean, can see it better. I didn’t get a shot at that.
There is a sofa
A desk
The balcony
Pros about the cabin
Here are the pros about the room, in my opinion
- Sofa
- Plenty of power
- A bit bigger
- Lots of storage space
Cons of the room
- You must always have a card in here to power the lights. We put one of my wife’s IDs in it. On the last day, the steward put in a blank card.
I am sure there are more, but I can’t think about that now.
Thoughts
For the first time in 10 cruises, we were in the front of the ship. It was fine; you could feel the boat rock more as it hit the waves. The view from the balcony was fine; there was a bit of obstruction.
Overall, I thought the cabin was good. My wife likes how Princess is set up with the closet as a walk-in instead of how Royal does it.
