Home of Harvard and MIT, and the Celtics. Well, what is Boston anyway?

This is the financial center and the cultural center of the greater New England region. Most likely one of the oldest municipalities in America. It is the 24th most populous city in the USA.
Famous for
They are famous for
- Boston Massacre
- Baston Tea party
- Battle of Bunker Hill
- Siege of Boston.
- Boston Celtics, NBA sport team
- Boston Red Sox, MLB sport team
- New England Patriots, NFL sport team
Probably more, but that is my list
Revolutionary War
There was a war called the Revolutionary War, and that is where the 13 colonies fought the British for independence. This took place in 1775, well the start of it. Many crucial events of this war happened here.
When the Britsh wanted to tax the people of Boston, they decided to dump a whole shipment of Tea from the East India Company into the harbor. Thus, the Boston Tea party started the year-long siege of Boston by the British and basically the start of the Revolutionary war.
Growing
Boston grew fast and will the city soon ran out of room and couldn’t acquire any more land. They decided to the marshes, mud flats, and the area between the wharves along the waterfront and fill them in. So that more than tripled the amount of space Boston had.
My thoughts
For the first time being there, well for the short time. I thought it was a great city. As we drove thru the city, we saw what Boston was all about. Beacon Hill, Cheers, well the bar that the TV series in the ’80s was based on. Logan international airport could be seen from the cruise ship. I only wish I could have spent more time and explore the city. Well, there is always next time.
