We ventured back to the Navy Memorial to see if the archives were open. I am glad we did go. We noticed some incredible things in that place.

What exactly are the archives. Well, this is the headquarters. This holds original copies of the following:

• Declaration of Independence
• The Constitution
• Bill of Rights

They are stored in the Rotunda for the Charters of Freedom.

Yea, I am glad I went.

Has it ever been in a movie?

Why yes it has. In National Treasure. Where they borrowed the Declaration of Independence.

Yes, we did see that. It was cool actually to see that document. Not only did I see where it was signed. Now I have seen the actual document. Kind of cool. Isn’t it?
