Wizard of Oz At Tuacahn – Here’s What Happened   Recently updated !

Here is a story that you might find interesting… Let’s read about it.

Wicked

I saw Wicked on Broadway a few years back, and it was pretty good. If you don’t know what Wicked is all about, I would encourage you to find out. But it does have to do with The Wizard of Oz.

My wife was in New York City and saw Wicked on Oct. 19, 2025. She flew home on Oct. 20, 2025, got home, moved her suitcase to my car, and we left for St. George, Utah.

Within 24 hours, she saw both Wicked and The Wizard of Oz back to back.

Wizard of Oz

This is the story of Dorothy and her being sent to a far-off place called Oz. In doing so, the house she was flying on was, well, caught up in a big tornado, which landed on the wicked witch of the East, killing her.

Dorthy puts on the red slippers and then takes the journey on the Yellow Brick Road.

Along the way, she finds

  • A scarecrow with no brain
  • A tin man without a heart
  • A lion without courage

They all go together to find the Wizard of OZ

Along the way, the wicked witch of the west is trying to steal the slippers.

She finally makes it back home, but was it a dream?

Thoughts

Now, this play was pretty darn good. The special effects that went into this production were next-level. The screens that projected images were spot on. It even looked like the trees swayed back and forth in real life.

During the Tordano scene, real-life horrors ran in the back of the stage. That was an impressive sight.

They utilized the whole stage for this production. I really enjoyed it.
