The wind jammer is what it is called here on the Quantum of the Seas. Let’s talk about it.

Windjammer

But if you would like to go in there and sit, that isn’t an option, as it is closed.

This is located on deck 14 in the aft of the ship. There are two entrances, and someone is there to remind you to wash your hands.

They offer a variety of food, so even if you are a picky eater, you will hopefully be able to find something to eat.

They are set up so that the same food is on both sides of the windjammer. It will be on the starboard side if it’s on the Port side. They do this to help prevent backup at the buffet. Well, that is what I am assuming, anyway.

Ate there

Yes, I have eaten there for breakfast one day and lunch a couple of days. So yes, there are a lot of different options to eat there. However, it is hard to find a place to sit. People like to come and get a table by the window, and they never seem to want to move from that spot.

If you would like to sit farther from the buffet, there are tables towards the back. It looks like a small buffet area is set up, but I have never seen anything being served there.

They do have smaller ice cubes there, and I must go there to get my wife some ice, even if I have other options closer to me.

Thoughts

The buffet is a nice go-to place to eat if you can’t find any other place on the ship. People seem to like to eat there for all three meals, and it seems like a popular place. If that is your jam, then I would stick to it. But that isn’t my jam here on Royal Caribbean ships. I guess it’s being closed for part of the day. But still, that is just a tiny problem of mine.
