As the year 2020 winds down, the last 2 months of this very odd year indeed. We should all be thankful for what we have.
What year is it again
Yes this is only the month of November of 2020, it seems like it has been three years since this whole COVID-19 came into play. We all have to look at what we have.
Thanksgiving
Here in the United States where I am writing from it is thanksgiving. A time of year we are grateful and thankful for.
Thankful
As we look at life and especially during at what has happened this year. Here is what I am thankful for:
- My health
- My life
- My family
- My freedom
- My right to choose
- Right from wrong
- My faith
- Something I don’t talk about much.
- My ability to blog and to express my thoughts
- For everyone that comes here to support me
I feel so blessed.
What could have been
If the year was a normal year I would be writing this from somewhere in the Pacific ocean. Yes, we would have been on a cruise as a family of four again. My son would have been back from his LDS mission, but, this was a different type of year.
Even if we couldn’t be on the high seas, I am happy and thankful that things worked out the way they did. So that is another thing I am thankful for.
I am just thankful that this year is all most over.
