State of Alaska

The State of Alaska was once the territory of Russia. Let’s talk about Alaska.

The state

Well, this state is one of the only ones that is separated from the rest of the states. The other one is Hawaii. It sits on the Northwest side of Canada.

Alaska is the largest state in the United States by area. Even if you take California, Texas, and Montana, they still won’t make up the size of Alaska.

The Indigenous people lived here for thousands of years before. It is said that this was the initial settlement of North America via the Bering land bridge.

The Russians were the first to colonize the area. However, due to financial issues after the Crimean War, Russia suffered a huge loss and needed money. So, they sold Alaska to the United States for 0.02 cents per acre, totaling $7.2 million.

Some say that the Russians are thinking of ways to get this back. If they offered the Biden Administration some ice cream, they might give it up.

Where is Alaska located at

It isn’t located here

So that we don’t get messed up, you must go North to see Alaska, not south. If you are to go where Alaksa is in the above picture, then you will be in Mexico.
