I did the premier on our Panama Canal Cruise in 2023. It was interesting. But on the Ruby, there were only two specialty restaurants, and I ate at both of them. Then, there was only one casual place. The pictures were fun, but the desserts—well, let’s just say that there was a lot of sugar.

Changes
I wanted to try more premium desserts, but they are gone now. I’m not sure if you can buy them or not. I am not sure I would spend $12 on them. The juice bar was nice, but it took me forever to find it. Then I only had one or two a day. It closed early all the time. That wasn’t worth it.
The one thing I am not too sure about is the 15-drink-per-day limit. That includes all drinks besides coffee and Tea, including soda, cocktails, and alcoholic beverages. I am not a drinker, so I won’t have to worry about that. I don’t think there will ever be a chance to hit the 15-drink-per-day limit. But what about hot chocolate? Is that with the coffee and tea or the 15-count limit?
The prize I won was a backstage tour. I like the food in the main dining room, but eating at Crown was good. Maybe it would be worth it if there were more specialty places to eat. The same holds for casual meals.
I like the four devices for the WiFi, but since I am platinum, I get WiFi for half off. So I can get a four-device package and spirit it with my wife, and we can each have two. I don’t need four devices; I don’t use all of them at once.
One for my phone and the other one for my iPad or MacBook. That is all I need.
The plus package would be good for me, but the photos were fun. That is probably the only reason we would do the premier again.
Got this in the mail on Aug 7, 2025, not the new set up of the packages

Worth It
I don’t know; deciding whether this is good for you is all a personal decision. Due to the WiFi and the graduations, I have considered doing the plus on future cruises. Plus, I like to use the delivery service option.
