I picked a familiar place to stay this year. I was looking for something not that expensive but worthwhile.
Stayed at the village sports complex
Now you can go here. This will not only give you a breakdown of what is offered here but also a look at the last place we stayed.
Building P
We stayed in apartment 8 in building P. Now it is on the upstairs floor, and it is different than the one we stayed in last year. You are thinking, of course, it is different, they are other numbers, duh.
I am talking about a different layout and design.
Some light switches didn’t do anything.
Information
You could check in at 3 PM and check out at 11 AM.
They do have a Yale access pad to get in and out of the place
They do have an Eobbe thermostat.
They do have a binder of instructions and rules.
It was smaller than the last one we stayed at in October of 2024.
Walk in
You have to go up a flight of steps and open up a gate

Then you are greeted by the following:

Open up the door, and you see

The living room, kitchen, and dining room are all right there.
Living Room
There are 2 couches, and one is a pull-out bed.

The TV is on the wall; the view is awkward. From how the living room is set up.

Dining room
There is a small 4-chair table for the dining room

Kitchen
It has a sink, stove, fridge, and plenty of stuff. Just like a standard kitchen

Bathroom
This one was a bit smaller; the sink had little space to put things on. Plus, it wasn’t that tall.

The shower/tub was just like the one in P3.

Bedroom
This had a queen-size bed.
- Dresser
- Closet
- TV
- Washer and dryer

Thoughts
This was on the top level, and it could have used a ceiling fan to cool the place down. One window faced west, where the sun sets, and it warmed the place pretty well.
The lighting could be better. Once you walk in, you have a light switch that doesn’t turn on anything. Maybe it is supposed to turn on the lamp by the door, but that lamp wasn’t working as well.

Overall, it was a nice place to stay for the price. But I would have liked better lighting when you first walk in the door at night, just for safety reasons.
We did do a late check-out, and the cost was $39. We left at 4 PM on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025.
If you are looking for something cozy and small, then this is the place for you—nothing too fancy. The bathroom sink could be a bit higher. But it is nice.
Cost
It cost us $311 for the two nights.
