Well, we got some great news for Hawaiian Airlines, and it is good news.
Alaska Air
I talked about how Alaska acquired Hawaiian Airlines, and you can find that blog here.
The deal ensured that Hawaiian Airlines would retain its own brand and continue to operate all Hawaii flights. So the same iconic livery airplanes.
Now, with this combined airline, they have created something called Atmos Rewards. This little thing enabled Hawaiian to join the Oneworld alliance.
OneWorld
Hawaiian Airlines will become a full member of the OneWorld group. This happens on April 22, 2026. This is the date on which Hawaiian and Alaska will move to a single passenger service system on April 22, 2026.
This is the date that the “HA” code will be retired, and all future flights on both airlines will fly under the “AS” code.
