Another stop in Utah. What does Springville have to offer?
History
Father Sylvester Velez de Escalante was a padre in 1776. Springville, as it is now called, lies along the wagon route known as the Mormon Road. This was a route that the Mormon pioneers and the 49ers took to travel to southern California.
Springville is known as the “Art City” due to its strong development of the arts. The city has something called the Museum of Art.
Founded in 1850, Springville has deep roots in the history of the pioneers. Initially inhabited by settlers seeking fertile land, this charming city has undergone significant evolution over the years. The city’s historical landmarks include the Springville Museum of Art and the Academy Square. These landmarks reflect its rich cultural heritage and artistic spirit. This makes Springville a hub for creativity in the region.
