Another trip is in the books, and now it comes to the trip’s overview.

Thoughts

Setting off to see the Northern lights while jobless is a different experience. But when you have booked a trip before being laid off, well, you roll with it.

Alaska was what I thought it would be—a nice getaway to relax and enjoy life in a stress-free environment. OK, it wasn’t stress-free, but the thought was there.

Quantum of the Seas is the most giant ship I have been on. There are some bigger ones out there, and we are working on getting on them.

But this trip was nice, even if we didn’t see the Northern Lights. I saw them here at my house in June and October, so I guess we didn’t need to go on a trip.

Alaska was beautiful and a great place to go. I would tell you to go in the late season, but the possibility of rain is much higher. Even though I had it rain in May and June, it was a great trip.

We did a new cruise ship.

We did a new city in Alaska.

We saw some great sites.

We saw Alaska in September, and it was a bit colder.

The Quantum of the Seas was a good ship to go on. There was a lot to do. However, the food was limited on the Ship. But that is just my opinion on that matter.

If you get to go, I would jump on a ship and head to Alaska to enjoy the beauty of this planet.
