A Chaotic 2-Night Theater Trip to St. George (And Why We’d Do It Again   Recently updated !

This trip was just a short 2-night 3-show trip.  We left on a Monday afternoon and came back on Wednesday night/Thursday morning.

Thoughts

Love St. George, don’t like the drive. It is a long, boring drive. St. George is a growing city, and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I would love to go golfing at black Desert. But I probably can’t afford the price.

Tuacahn is always a great place to go. It is a ways out there, but things are getting built up all around it.

The plays were excellent, and the productions were very high-quality; they do a fantastic job.

Food

We tried to eat at the biscuit bus on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, but it was closed. The hours are only Thursday – Sunday for some odd reason. So we couldn’t enjoy the great-tasting food they have.

Farmsted Bakery

They changed names due to some legal issues.

Now it is called Bonrue Bakery

I can handle paying the $30 we spent this year instead of the enormous bill we had last year with two hungry boys who just ran a 1/2 marathon.

I mean, we ate at a few different places, but that is just boring.

Mistakes

Yes, I do make mistakes in life. Like on this trip, I forgot to pack

  • Heart Medicine
  • A belt
  • Shampoo
  • Deodorant

Maybe it was just all a blur, or me being stressed out. I am not sure. I mean, I usually wear a belt, but the pants I had on didn’t have a belt option.

I am just going to chalk it up to a lot going on.

Yeah, it was only a couple of days that I could go without my medicine; however, if it were longer than that, it could become an issue. The rest I could deal with; there were stores so that I could pick up stuff.
