Temple
This became the fifteenth temple in Utah and the third in Utah County. Provo was the first, and Mount Timpanogos Temple was the second.
When the Angel Moroni was put in place on Oct. 10, 2013, hundreds of people showed up to watch this happen.
It is visible from the freeway, I 15, as a lot of people—it could be millions—but you can see the temple day or night.
Payson did get some land in an annexation in the South Meadow area. This helped ensure that the Temple had room and that a new Elementary school would be located in this area since Payson was growing.
You can see a 3D model here.

Thoughts
When it was dedicated in 2015, it was the third temple built and in use in Utah County. It helped serve the southern end of Utah County. It is a bit bigger than the Orem Temple. It is a nice-looking Temple, and it serves its purpose.
