Today is the second port day, of our 7-day cruise and it is in Mazatlán, which is just across the bay from Cabo.  We have a tour today, it is a land and sea tour. We will see where this takes us in the city that I said I wouldn’t step foot in again.

Breakfast

We didn’t have the time to go to the main dining room, (MDR), so we went to the buffet and that really wasn’t a good choice, and I had the following:

    • Some scrambled eggs

    • Bacon

    • Potatoes, roasted

    • Pancakes

    • Orange Juice

    • Hot chocolate

Just like yesterday, the egg’s where still runny, the pancakes were better than the French Toast that I had yesterday.

After Breakfast

We made our way to the deck 0, that is where the gangway is at and we got off the ship and found our excursion check in place. We made our way over to the boat where we got on the boat and headed out. More on the excursion coming on the Mazatlán post which is coming up. It had an open bar at 9 AM in the morning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lunch

We were in Mazatlán and we were on the bus portion and we got off of the bus in the American district of Mazatlán and we ate at a place called Margaritaville and we had the following:

• Guacamole with chips and salsa
• 2 beef tacos
• 2 Shrimp tacos
• 2 quesadillas
• Came with 2 margaritas all for $17.50

They never did bring out the margaritas, It was good food.

After Lunch

We got back on the bus and continued on our tour of the city. We were on the way back to the ship. We stopped by some cliff divers, and they wanted money for their dives off of the diving cliff, even when we gave a tip, they kept on harassing us for money. We then went to a cathedral more on the Mazatlán page.

We got back to the ship and of course, we went up to the buffet and had some snacks.

Dinner

Dinner in the main dining room where it was casual wear and I mean dockers and button up shirt, looking fine. But this is what I had

    • Fried Shrimp

    • Spare Ribs with beans and Cornbread

    • 2 scoops of ice cream

Others got the following:

Appetizers

• Asparagus Vichyssoise
• Marinated Chicken Tenders
• Salad

Main dishes

• Beef Lasagna
• Chicken Milanese

Desserts

• Buttered popcorn pot de crème
• Chocolate panna cotta

After Dinner

Went back to the room where two of them feel asleep and I went up to the buffet to work on my blog posts to try and bring quality information on what this is all about.

Summary of day 4

The day in Mazatlan was a better time spent then last time, I wasn’t scared for my life and the life of the 3 girls I was with. I got some knowledge about Mazatlan and it was interesting. The food was good. I will be talking about Mazatlan more in detail later on. I will be having a video as well.
