Looking for another park and cruise hotel in the Long Beach area. I looked around on CruiseCritic.com for one. A lot of people talked about this hotel. I called them up and asked for the park and cruise package for Carnival cruises, that is if they had it still. They did and they gave me the code (p41). I took the code and did the reservation online. They had three different room types.
• 2 Queen Standard room — $169 + taxes
• 2 Queen Beds – Water View — $194 + taxes
• 2 Queen Beds – Balcony – Water View $204 + taxes
• All of them are non-smoking

We picked the Balcony option, yes that is more than I wanted to spend for just one night, but the wife wanted that one plus we are leaving our car there for a week.

Even if we picked the Balcony view, we got a patio instead. I am not complaining, then I didn’t have to haul the luggage up to the higher levels. We had a view of the water, not a good view, it was a partial view, but I could walk the 50ft and see the full bay.

The fitness center was nice but the lights didn’t work and you had to work out in the dark. The treadmills and the bike didn’t work so there might have been something going on with the electricity.

The room was nice and big and fit the queen beds with room left over. The bathroom was nice and big.

The staff was friendly and they brought a fridge for us to store a few things in it. Since there wasn’t a free breakfast so that is why we needed a fridge. To store some things for breakfast.

The Wifi was nice, if you have AT&T wireless then this is an option. But, if you are a Hilton Honors member then it is free. You can upgrade to premium wireless for $9.95. Unless it is really fast, then is it worth it?

The shuttle service was nice, even if it was a .7 mile walk to the terminal we rode the shuttle with all of the bags. It was nice and fast. When they picked us up from the cruise terminal, they took us right to the car, which was nice.

Overall it was a nice hotel with some different hotel views and options.
