Friday, April 10, 2015, This is what we did

We went to Alcatraz Island and went on a tour of the island. It is an interesting place to visit. Lots of history there. The inmates that were there and what they went through was amazing. The way they lived.

We then let the kids ride bikes from Pier 39 across the golden gate bridge. That is what the oldest son wanted to do. They had fun. We just walked around Pier 39 and looked at the shops and looked at the seals.

Ate some ice cream, and waited for the kids to come back from the bike ride. They had a fun time, I guess it was a life-changing experience.

We then headed over the Bay to Oakland to go to the LDS temple and then over to an A’s game. We found the Oracle Arena where Golden State plays, my son’s favorite team. The A’s and Golden State share the same parking lot.
