Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, we went on a drive up the Pacific coast highway and stopped at a Traders Joe. We at the Cheesecake Factory before we headed off to the movie Frozen. Looked down on my phone and saw that Paul Walker passed away. We weren’t too far away from that. Sad news.
Skipping over to the drive home on Tuesday, Dec. 3, we went from nice sunny weather to a Blizzard on the way home. We should have stayed in Cedar City, Utah, but we forged onward. What normally takes about 2 ½ to 3 hours to drive took us 6 hours. At some point in time, we were the only vehicle on the road, besides the snow plow. Which we stayed behind for a while. We had four-wheel drive and we got home 6 hours later.
It was a good trip.
